The as collector's items, along with the Balinese family, built houses will especially please travelers who value individual living sourounded by tropical nature. All houses are built in a Balinese or Javanese style with care and love to details and are comfortably furnished with teak furniture. All kitchens offer the opportunity to cook short meals by yourself. Each of the different sized houses has a private garden. Naga Naga and Nandi's have a private pool too and the other four houses share a large pool.
The species rich tropical gardens offer plenty of retreat options and you can enjoy a relaxing time at the pools or watch the tropical sunsets from the terrace of your house.
The houses are located away from street noise in the are of the old rice terraces of Penestanan. You only need 15
min. on foot to reach the center of Ubud which is the
main
spot for
Balinese culture and arts.
Right in front of the houses you can start a stroll through
the beautiful ricefields. In the vicinity you will find a
huge variety of restaurants, some also offer home delivery
on call.
The culinary range starts from „simple“ warungs
with Balinese delicacies to the best french restaurant all
over Indonesia , so you rather will be spoiled for choice.
In addition you will find a well stocked up supermarket in
walking distance.
Ubud is an ideal starting point for those who prefer getting deep in touch with the original Balinese life and spirituality. Getting dressed up nicely with appropriate Balinese clothing you can take part in temple ceremonies which take place throughout the year.
During your stay the friendly staff will take care of you including preparing breakfast, cleaning the house and giving support on dressing up for temple ceremonies. Individual tours can be organised by Kadek who is managing the family business. She also organizes the airport pick up.
